Hall effect

Hall effect can be used to determine the carrier type, concentration and mobility of a material.

Hall coefficient $R_\text{H}$ is a material property

The Hall voltage $V_\text{H}$ is

V_\text{H} = \frac{R_\text{H} I_x B_z}{d}
